It's Spring, so lets get growing!
Come along to Waimarama Community Organic Gardens this Saturday for a "Growing your Garden from Seed" workshop. Whether you're an experienced grower or an amateur (like me), learn (and perhaps share) some tips on growing your own food from seed. We'll have some seedling raising compost, seedling pots and some seeds to share (thanks Nelson Seed Library, but also bring some to share if you have them).
Grow seedlings for yourself and/or to share with your community, and perhaps give back to the Waimarama Gardens for the upcoming seedling sale to help support the gardens.
